PROGRAM OBJECTIVE: In the last 10 years brain researchers and
psychologists have made some startling (and some not so startling) discoveries
about motivation. For the most part our behavior is greatly influenced
by our genetics and brain biochemistry. This gives us some really critical
clues about how to motivate ourselves and others.
In addition, somewhere between 20% to 40% of the work force is dealing
with serious mental illness issues. So we will spend about one-fifth of
our time describing how these workers cope and how you can make their
output even more productive.
